Welcome to the First Looks Club, the private first stop for my newest Sici Design Works creations. I create a lot of designs. Fashion. Footwear. Jewelry. Furniture. Electronics. Automotive concepts. Beauty products. Accessories. Toys. Commercial concepts and ideas that don't always fit neatly into one category. Sici Design Works already contains more than 4,000 designs spanning a wide range of industries, and I'm constantly creating more. But before my newest work reaches everybody else, First Looks Club members get to see it first.
For $199.99 per month, members receive private access to newly released designs for a full 30-day First Look period. During those seven days, First Looks Club members have the first opportunity to purchase an available design before I release it into the rest of the Sici Design Works ecosystem.
If you see something you want, you don't have to wait until everybody else gets a shot at it. If you are first, you can have it at it's purchase price and royalty fee amount.
HOW THE FIRST LOOKS CLUB WORKS
Whenever I release a qualifying new design into the First Looks Club, it remains available to club members for 30 days before its general release. During that window, members can browse the newest concepts and decide whether there is something they want to secure. These designs are exclusive to the First Looks Club until their 30-day expiry. There will still be other releases into the main categories, but these designs come here first, exclusively for FLC Members to get a look.
Once the 30-Day First Look period ends, designs that remain available can move into the appropriate Sici Design Works collection. A design intended for exclusive commercial licensing may move into Black Label, while designs intended for broader non-exclusive commercial use may be added to Sici Design Works.
Black Label currently provides exclusive commercial licensing opportunities, with the exact commercial rights and exclusivity governed by the applicable licensing agreement. Sici Design Works, by contrast, operates as the site's broader non-exclusive design catalog.
First Looks Club puts you in front of both.
You aren't waiting for a design to appear in the public catalog and hoping you catch it before somebody else does. You're getting the opportunity to look at what's coming before it gets there.

How much does First Looks Club cost?
Membership is $199.99 per month.
What do I receive with my subscription?
Your subscription provides access to the private First Looks Club collection, where qualifying new designs are shown to members before their wider release.
How early do members see the designs?
First Looks Club designs are held for members for 30 days before being released into the appropriate Black Label or Sici Design Works collection.
What does "first dibs" mean?
During the First Look period, club members have the first opportunity to purchase available designs before they're offered to the general public through their next applicable release channel.
Does my $199.99 subscription include the purchase price of a design?
No. The subscription pays for membership and early access. Individual design purchases or licenses are separate transactions.
Do I automatically own the designs I see?
No. Viewing a design through First Looks Club does not transfer ownership or licensing rights. You must separately purchase the applicable rights to a design.
What happens after seven days?
If a design remains available when its First Look period expires, it can move into its appropriate collection—such as Black Label for exclusive licensing or Sici Design Works for non-exclusive use.
What is the difference between First Looks Club and Black Label?
First Looks Club is an early-access membership. Black Label is an exclusive commercial design licensing program. Black Label licenses can include worldwide commercial rights and defined exclusivity, subject to the individual agreement.
What is the difference between First Looks Club and Sici Design Works?
Sici Design Works is the broader non-exclusive design catalog, currently containing more than 4,000 designs. First Looks Club is where qualifying new designs can appear before entering that broader catalog or Black Label.
Are all First Looks Club designs exclusive?
Not necessarily. The First Looks Club is the first-look stage, not the final licensing category. Some designs may ultimately be offered through Black Label as exclusives, while others may be released through Sici Design Works as non-exclusive designs.
If I want a design during the 30-day period, what should I do?
Don't wait for the 30 days to expire. Follow the purchase or licensing instructions provided with that design while it is available through First Looks Club.
What types of designs will I see?
Expect a broad range. Your existing SDW ecosystem already includes apparel, shoes, accessories, jewelry, furniture and interiors, electronics, transportation, sports equipment, beauty concepts, toys, household products and other commercial design categories.
Is First Looks Club only for large companies?
No. The larger Sici Design Works ecosystem is already structured for entrepreneurs, small businesses, creators and established commercial operations alike.
Can I use a design commercially just because I'm a member?
No. Membership gives you access to view the designs and the first opportunity to obtain them. Commercial rights come from the applicable purchase or licensing agreement.
If I don't purchase a design, can I still use the image or recreate the product myself?
No. Access to the First Looks Club does not itself grant commercial rights to the designs.
What happens if another First Looks Club member wants the same design?
For a design being offered on an exclusive basis, the member who successfully completes the applicable purchase/licensing process first would secure the opportunity, subject to the terms presented with that design. First Looks Club gives members priority over the later public release; it does not necessarily reserve a design for one member simply because they viewed it.
Does joining guarantee that I'll find a design I want to purchase?
No. Design preferences are subjective. The value of the membership is access to the early-release collection and the opportunity to see qualifying designs before their wider release.
Will new designs continue to be added?
Yes. The First Looks Club is intended to function as the front end of the design pipeline, with new qualifying work entering as it is created.
Can designs eventually become Black Label exclusives?
Yes. Qualifying designs that remain available after their First Look period can enter the Black Label collection, where exclusive commercial licensing is offered under the applicable agreement.
Can designs eventually become non-exclusive Sici Design Works designs?
Yes. Designs intended for non-exclusive commercial use can move into the larger Sici Design Works catalog after their First Look period.
Why pay $199.99 when Sici Design Works costs less?
They're two different products. Sici Design Works provides access to the established non-exclusive catalog; First Looks Club sells position in the release line. You're paying to be among the people who see qualifying new work first and get an opportunity to act on it before its wider release. The current SDW subscription is listed at $49.99 per month and includes access to its 4,000+ design library.
