I don’t believe every home needs to look like another variation of the same five designs. Aeon’s Architecture gives you the freedom to explore something with more personality, whether that means futuristic, luxurious, gothic, colorful, minimalist, industrial, classical, nature-inspired or something that doesn’t fit neatly into any established category.

The concept can incorporate distinctive materials, dramatic entrances, custom windows, unusual shapes, statement lighting, specialty rooms, landscaping and other features that establish an identity for the property. The objective is to create a residential environment that reflects your tastes instead of simply following whatever happens to be popular at the moment.

 

EXTERIOR CONCEPT DESIGN

The exterior establishes the first impression of the property, so I can develop the house as a complete visual composition rather than treating the façade as an afterthought. This can include the overall structure, exterior materials, windows, entrances, balconies, garages, exterior lighting, landscaping and surrounding outdoor spaces.

Existing homes can also be reimagined. If you send photographs of your property, I can develop concepts showing different approaches to its appearance without requiring you to start over with an entirely new house.

 

INTERIOR CONCEPT DESIGN

Inside the home, I can develop spaces around both appearance and purpose. Kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, entertainment rooms, offices, gyms, bars and other rooms can each have their own personality while still feeling like they belong in the same property.

This is also where we can explore furniture placement, cabinetry, surfaces, lighting, materials, decorative elements and specialty features. Instead of choosing everything separately and hoping it works together afterward, the concept gives you an opportunity to see how the different elements could work as one environment.

 

RENOVATE WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE

You may already own the right house and simply want to change what it has become. Aeon’s Architecture can be used to visualize renovations to individual rooms, exterior updates, additions or a larger transformation of the property.

Send me photographs of the existing space and explain what you want changed. I can use the existing property as the starting point and develop a new direction around it, allowing you to explore possibilities before committing to materials or construction.

 

START SMALL OR DESIGN THE ENTIRE PROPERTY

You don’t have to commission an entire home at once. You may only want to see what a new kitchen could look like, redesign your bedroom, create a private game room or finally figure out what to do with your backyard.

Larger projects can expand into coordinated concepts covering multiple rooms, exterior areas and the overall property. This allows you to determine how much of the home you want developed instead of paying for design work you don’t need.

 

CONCEPTUAL RESIDENTIAL LAYOUTS

For projects that need a broader view, I can also develop conceptual layouts showing possible relationships between the major areas of the home. These can help communicate where bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, entertainment spaces, entrances and outdoor areas could be positioned in relation to one another.

These concepts are visual design materials, not architectural blueprints, engineering plans or construction documents. Licensed architects, engineers, contractors and other appropriate professionals should handle structural calculations, building codes, permitting, technical drawings and construction requirements. The concepts are intended to give those professionals a clearer visual reference for the direction you want to pursue.

 

WHAT SHOULD YOU SEND ME?

You can provide as much or as little reference material as you currently have. Useful materials can include:

• Floor plans or rough layouts

• Room measurements

• Sketches

• Inspiration images

• Architectural styles you like

• Color preferences

• Material and finish ideas

• Furniture references

• Landscaping ideas

• Examples of features you want included

• Examples of things you specifically do not want

 

Even if you don’t have any of those things yet, you can simply describe the kind of home or room you have in mind. I can use that information to begin establishing a visual direction.
